The Me!!

Well for those of you who don't know me, I am Souvik Das Gupta. I have recently completed my second year of Engineering from University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Panjab University Chandigarh. And even more recently I have reached the 20 year bench mark (just got out of my teens). It had been about a year in college when I started getting bored of an enjoyable hostel life. C++ had now become utterly useless and monotonous. I recalled a small Exun session in which I was introduced to php (very classy - that was my first reaction then). Yeah!! That was it. All it required was little push by Mr Dara and a little inspiration from Rungta and Karan. And slowly I started off with php. A small registration server was the first project I took up. And with its success, there was never looking back. Since then I have worked with different kinds of projects. Some of them even using the Online CMS/Scripts like Job2c, Joomla, Ajaxportal, Rss2Html etc.

Owing to some hard-work I now possess a good knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, Mysql, Ajax and Photoshop. These few (but very powerful) tools can make almost every kind of website. And apart from these the only other tool I require is my Computer. Thankfully I have got rid of my old PC (which is not old because of its age, but because I have now got a new one.). I am now using a Macbook Pro and my entire computing experience has changed ever since I have switched!
